| Hello to all members! In this thread I want to show you some Kitsuke pictures of me. Comments and critics are welcome ~ A short while ago I went to a Hanami organised by a german Budo-Club, it was my first official Kitsuke: Together with my friend Susa (she is a Kendo member and collecting Kimono, too. Here she did a Geiko cosplay): left: Susa middle: another Kendo member right: me It was a really nice day ♥ Greetings, Ichiyuki ~

| Ichiyuki, your kitsuke is just perfect! I can't see any mistake on it at all. Congratulations! ^^ Your kitsuke is very elegant and soft,I really like it. And your otaiko musubi is just flawless. Even today I have some trouble when I make otaiko musubi, and not always can make it so perfectly. I admire you ^.^ | |

I am very happy that you like it soo much Well, I have to say that this obi is a Tsuke obi *haha*. I bought it a long time ago but never had a Kimono for it until I bought this one you can see here. It is just a perfect combination. However ... I know what you mean. When I first tried to tie the Taiko musubi ... I was so helpless. But today I know how it works. I think I will also make a tutorial for the Taiko musubi. Thanks again. Ichiyuki

I will do it for sure. Today I tried to tie the Taiko musubi by myself. It is a lot easier when you first tie it on the front side. You have to try it Greetings, Ichiyuki ~

| @ Kimino: Yesterday I tried to tie the O-taiko musubi on my own. I tied it on the front side first and then turned it back, so it worked very well. (Sorry for the bad pictures ) | |

| On 02.06.2012 was Japan-Day in Düsseldorf, Germany. I was there for the first time and of course I wore Kimono - Furisode ♥ that was still in the hotel at the Rheinpromenade ~ it was sooo windy there ... so my hair looks so bad here *haha* and my Obiage also donnot wanted to stay like before >o< I forgot to take a picture of my backside, but I tied my Obi in Tateya musubi style. | |

| 2 days ago I made a Kimono test dressing for Saturday. I will go to our local Sushi restaurant with 2 japanese course classes =) And I want to wear this ensemble: I did not used all the Kitsuke items for this test dressing. Missing items: Erishin Obi ita Korin belt Sorry for the flash light on the pics x.x What do you think? | |

| Ichiyuki, the composition itself is so lovely with the flowery branches of you in your first kitsuke. And you all look wonderful. If only one could edit away those in the background though! (I'd actually volunteer to do so, if you are up for it, 'cause it's such a nice pic)
Pretty O-taiko musubi! And good idea about practicing obi with no kimono on. I tried some on a dress form, but since it doesn't have a very heavy bottom, it tends to wiggle when one pulls hard in the obi.
[I'm afraid the Japan-Day pics are no showing right now]
